Brush Your Teeth

This is a little activity that we did to get a conversation going on hygiene.

By the way, conversations are the best way to teach my 2 and half YO right now. So even though it may seem that we do a lot of coloring and I do a lot of printing for her, conversations are our main mode of learning. Hence, whenever I plan an activity for her, my main aim is to create a conversation topic with her.

In any case, I saw this on the Dad Lab so I decided to draw up a more fanciful printable. Took out plastic folder, whiteboard markers and an old toothbrush, we worked on this a few times. Kept my little one occupied for a good half an hour actually, which is not bad for one sheet of printable.

We did some recap on the letter B and T as well. I think this is a pretty convenient activity when you are on the road too!

Hello World!

Introductions proper here. I have been a mom for almost 3 years now and it had been an amazing experience. The learning curve was pretty steep too. I cannot say that I have adjusted well enough to be telling anyone anything but I have benefitted so much from all the moms out there who shared their day to days, from what they cooked for their babies and toddler, their ideas on what to teach or play with their children and even right down to the bedtime routines. Some things are just ill advised but the rest, they are whopping helpful.

With so many mothers out there that have been sharing so much - I could turn here for fun (and free) playgrounds in Singapore, the best deals there are, reviews on the various indoor playgrounds (they are so expensive, so always read up the reviews on the best ones out there), all those yummy free recipes online and the oh-so many printable worksheets that I've been printing out for my little one.

I am ever so grateful for these that I think it is my turn to help pass it on.
